The Canteen Coordinator is responsible for the operation of the canteen whilst junior games are being played at Rofe Park.
Position Functions:
- Operate the canteen and return a profit as required by the committee.
- Maintain adequate stocks of products without running out during opening times.
- Ensure all council health standards are maintained. That food is presented in an acceptable, professional and hygienic manner.
- Issue team roster and contact each team in advance to remind them of their canteen responsibilities.
- Ensure food and drinks are available at least 1 hour prior to the schedule start time of the first game and ½ hour after the scheduled finish time of the last game.
- Ensure sufficient food is prepared for the finish of each game.
- Ensure all items are within their use by dates.
- Present funds and invoices to treasurer for banking and payment each week.
- In the event of being unable to attend opening / closing within scheduled game times organise for a suitable alternate person.
- Report to regular committee meetings.
- Sell items of club merchandise through the canteen (this is outside of any budgets).
