The Grounds Coordinator is responsible for managing and responding to Rofe Park ground maintenance items in a prompt, efficient and accurate manner.
Position Functions:
- Ensure that you are contactable to enable prompt reply to enquiries.
- Determine and communicate ground closures due to wet weather.
- Make regular inspections to check items that require maintenance eg. Mowing/weeding surrounds, ground markings, ground surface cleaned and in good repair etc.
- Fencing behind each diamond should be maintained as much as possible to prevent balls being hit out of the ground so as to avoid possible damages claims.
- Ensure economical use of dolerite, related tools and equipment.
- Ensure all playing surfaces and surrounding areas are safe for their intended use.
- Co-ordinate working bees.
