Registrar

The Registrar is responsible maintaining the player database; update team & contact lists; issue Club communications by email; ensure members are financial; liaise with President & Treasurer as required. The registrar should exercise confidentially.

Position Functions:

  • Maintain membership records.
  • Ensure all players complete registration and medical forms.
  • Collect fees payable, past and present.
  • Advise relevant vice presidents of player details.
  • Liaise with executive on player numbers and fees collected and due.
  • Receipt payments.
  • Issue overdue notices to players.
  • Advise coaches of non financial players.
  • Pass payments to treasurer for banking.
  • Issue season renewal notices and registrations.
  • Follow up players that have not re-registered from the previous season.
  • Prepare documents regarding player information and numbers as required by governing associations.
  • Report to committee meetings on a regular basis.
