Tricia has been a prolific and integral member of Rangers baseball Club since it’s inception in 1996 with her playing career pre-dating the clubs amalgamation with Berowra as part of the Hornsby Hornets some years earlier.

A highly accredited coach, Trish took on the role of player / coach and manager in 1999 and for more than a decade actively trained Senior Players from all grades whilst continuing to blaze a trail for womens involvement in Senior Baseball Leagues as an integral player and member of the Rangers B and C grade squads.

After many years of volunteer work for the club, Tricia was officially elected to and simultaneously held numerous committee positions within Rangers, including but not limited to; Marketing and Events Management, Senior and Junior Uniform Management, Promotions and Fundraising, Sponsorship, Junior Team Photography, Club Newsletters and Internet Marketing dedicating thousands of hours to the promotion and well being of the Rangers Baseball Club and its members whilst organising numerous functions, presentation days both junior and senior as well as fund raising and club events. 

In 2007 Tricia actively managed the rebranding of the Rangers Baseball Club, designing not only the new Rangers Logo and branding, but all Rangers uniforms and merchandise, organising the refit of every player both Junior and Senior within the club which culminated in a uniform number presentation to all Senior players and a dramatic increase in volunteer participation.

During this period Tricia pioneered and organised the Rangers Christmas Raffles and Christmas party functions, which, with the generosity and help from the hard working committee members and sponsors raised more than $25,000 for the club during her tenure leaving an indelible mark on the clubs financial position and a lot of happy kids a long the way.

Tricia continued to be an active player of the Senior Ranks representing the club in the World Masters Games in 2009 as the only registered female player of the tournament after which she turned her attention to Junior Baseball, actively involving herself in the organisation of the “Try Baseball” Days whilst also serving as a Junior Baseball Coach for the next five years.

Tricia continues to represent Rangers as a player and consultant with her 20 plus year involvement, numerous and significant contributions to the club recognised with Life Membership in 2013.
