With the departure of long serving Rangers player, former Senior and Club President and now Life member, Dane Wright, Stephen Anderson has kindly accepted the mantle of Rangers Club President.
A stalwart of the Rangers Baseball Club Club, Stephen is respected throughout the association for his numerous contributions to baseball at Junior, Senior and Masters levels. Stephen recently coached his U16’s to an association premiership with his resume of both Junior and Senior Coaching roles, Grounds Co-Ordinator, Masters Co-Ordinator accompanying a dizzying array of club contributions which stretch beyond umpiring and his considerable work maintaining Roge Park.
With his wife and daughters also occupying scoring and playing roles within the club we are exceptionally lucky to have Stephen take on the top job and I hope we can find a number of bodies to help assist with his vast workload as if anyone is an inspirational icon within the organisation it’s Stephen. It’s hard to believe that amongst all of this, he still finds time to play himself.
On behalf of the whole club I’d like thank “Mr. Anderson” for not only his numerous contributions to the club to date but for those he is taking on and I hope I can call upon all of you to follow his lead and do something more for the club and people he has done so much to support.
