Andrew Yeates Breaks All Time Single Season Home Run Record

In a stellar season for the club, Andrew Yeates capped off his MVP honours by breaking the Rangers single season home run record of 9, by hitting his 10th home run of the season during the final game of the Summer 2015/16 season. His Grand Final round tripper proving to be a telling shot giving his team the early lead and proving to be the difference in a hard fought Rangers victory.

During a season that provided it’s share of washouts and forfeits, Andrew’s remarkable achievement encompassed no less than two grand slams as he averaged a home run every second game in an astounding display of controlled power hitting which discounted an additional four round trippers not counted due to fielding errors.

A Rangers Junior and now long serving Senior player despite being just 24 years of age, Rangers congratulates Andrew on a remarkable achievement.
