Cooper breaks MiLB ground for Aussies

The ABL has just posted a fantastic article about Rangers Life Member Matt Cooper. Here’s a snippet.

“Jennifer Pendergraft knows what it’s like to have the odds stacked against her. In Matt Cooper, she saw someone who could relate. This offseason, Cooper broke new Minor League Baseball ground, becoming the first Australian since the resurrection of the Australian Baseball League — and maybe the first ever — to join a Minor League team’s front office in a full-time capacity. He couldn’t have done it without Pendergraft. She couldn’t have done it without some serendipitous turns.”
