Umpiring Clinics

Umpire Clinics are being run at Pioneer Park in October:

Saints Clinic # 1 – Sunday 5th October 8:30am-10:30am @ Pioneer Park
This session would include positioning of the umpire during pitches and while live play is taking place. It will involve a
beginners, basic umpiring outline. It will be interactive to build confidence.
Saints Clinic # 2 – Sunday 12th October 8:30am-10:30am @ Pioneer Park
This session will be for those who have experience , plus those who attended the first session. This will involve game
management and control of scenarios which will likely arise. Again, this will be very interactive, with input to be
expected from all participants. This session will be a bit more involved with an idea of introduction of adversarial
complaints and how to handle them.

As it is a RHBL requirement for every team to supply their own umpire,  all parents and players 12 yrs
and older interested are encouraged to take advantage of this mentoring program.
