Working Bee Saturday 4th October

Summer 2014-15 Working bee. Saturday 4th October  9-11am

Rangers Baseball requires assistance in preparing the Baseball Diamonds ready for the new season.

The Junior Diamonds have recently suffered with all the wet weather and lack of use and require some work to play games on.

The more assistance we have on the day the quicker and easier it is to perform all the required work:

  • Diamond 2 (Next to Canteen)
  • Define the base running track edges.
  • Re-insert Baseplugs for 2nd and 3rd bases.
  • Fill in Running track near 1st base plug.
  • Diamond 6 (Far Side opposite Diamond 2)
  • Define the base running track edges.
  • Locate Baseplug 2nd Base.

Diamond 4 & 5

  • Clean up home plate area and add fill  if required.
  • Once the junior Diamond have been completed senior Diamonds can be cleaned up.

Diamond 3

  • 2nd Base fill (Raise the Baseplug)

Diamond 1

  •  1st Base Fill.

Additional items

Pull apart, Clean and repair line marker.

Mount Permanent Foul Poles for Diamond 1 (1st and 3rd Base line) and Diamond 3 (3rd Base line – 1st Base will be portable for each game)
