Rangers teams finals bound for Winter

As the end regular season draws two a close two of our senior teams are finals bound after posting strong victories over the weekend.

Rangers C2’s finished the season atop the ladder after a 5-3 victory over Baulkham Hills. They post a near perfect record on the season dropping just the solitary game in a forfeit due to Rangers player Matt Bell’s wedding. Their 13-1 record ensuring them of a direct birth into the C grade Grand Final on the 23rd of August and a week off headed into the finals.

The E2’s also posted a massive win over the weekend beating the Tiger 27-1 and ensuring their third place finish and a place in the finals series. It’s a great result for the team in an exceptionally crowded ladder that sees them take on Kissing Point at Aluba on 16th August and I encourage anyone who can come down to support the team do so.

With our Masters teams also in the mix for finals, Winter has been good to Rangers seniors and for those not playing in finals there’s plenty of baseball to watch!
