A dominant performance from the Rangers C2’s kicked off the weekend in style with a 19-2 victory over the Kuring-Gai Stealers. On the opposite side of the diamond, the Rangers C2’s imploded after tying the game at 3-3, Rangers let in 17 runs thanks in large part to a”Rangers Innings” before clawing the score back to some respectability to lose 10-20.

Hayley’s E2’s kept on their winning ways compiling an 18-5 victory over the Macquarie Saints. Game Changer report for the D2’s as follows:

Hot bats not enough, the Rangers D2’s succumb to Ryde Eastwood, 20-10

Fourteen hits weren’t enough for the Rangers as it lost a shootout, 20-10 in five innings, to Ryde Eastwood4 on Saturday at Rofe Park.

Grant Lacey had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings. Ryde Eastwood easily handled the Rangers pitching as eight hitters combined for 18 hits, 13 RBIs and 19 runs scored.

Ryde Eastwood never trailed after scoring 15 runs in the fourth on an RBI double by Kun Soo KIM, a two-run home run by Kun Soo, and five singles.

Five runs in the bottom of the fifth helped the Rangers close their deficit to 14-10. A two-run double by Brad Rockwell, an RBI double by Grant, an RBI single by Jeff Watts, and an RBI single by Steve Graham sparked the Rangers’ rally.

Ryde Eastwood4’s Dong Yeop Kang induced a Kevin Dinn ground out to close things out.
