Mixed fortunes for Rangers in Winter Week 2

Mixed fortunes for Rangers in Winter Week 2

After sweeping their rivals in the opening round of the competition, Rangers couldn’t follow up their success entirely in the second stanza with only C grade posting a very impressive 22-3 victory over North Ryde for the clubs only win of the weekend.

In the other Saturday fixture Hayley Bell and her E2’s went down to Ryde Eastwood 8-10 in a hard fought game citing a few crucial moments as the turning point in denying them what would have been a second straight victory.

Rangers D grade were once again at George Kendall on Sunday but with a number of key players missing due to mothers day commitments and a lack of early intensity, they too fell to their opposition bringing them back to 1-1 for the season.

As mentioned last week, scoring the game via the “Game Changer” app leads to the nifty ability to generate automated game reports. I’m more than happy to submit game reports on the website if anyone wants to utilise the Game Changer feature or indeed, write their own.
